Program of Care
Assisted Living Community specializing in memory care
|
Oakwood Terrace Assisted Living
is designed for individuals with cognitive impairments or who are in the
early to middle stages of Alzheimer's disease. Residents enjoy
maximum freedom in a structured environment where day-to-day
activities and hobbies help sustain an interest in enjoying
life.
An individual support plan is
created for each individual. Members of the Oakwood Terrace
care team—caregivers, nurses, activity and dietary personnel,
family members, and management—encourage involvement with daily
living activities and provide challenges to keep individuals
involved with others around them. Each day includes a program of structured activities and stimulating arts, crafts, and entertainment. Our sample weekly activity schedule is full of events all day, every day.
Where Families can be Involved
Our programs are designed to assist each individual to maintain the
highest level of interest and activity for as long as possible.
Family members are encouraged to collaborate in developing support
plans and adjusting and personalizing those plans to meet changing
needs and preferences.
Professional Management and Affiliation
Oakwood Terrace is part of the Christopher Place, Inc., nonprofit
